Danica Hendrickson is a Curriculum Developer for Facing the Future, an education nonprofit that develops and delivers K-12 sustainability curriculum and teacher professional development resources. Facing the Future will work with closely with the University of Idaho and the McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) to support education efforts for the NARA project. Facing the Future will assist in the development and delivery of web-based curriculum resources for middle and high school classrooms, as well as provide web-based outreach and professional development for teachers.

Danica received a B.S. in General Science from Seattle University in 2000 and a Master of Education in the Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) program from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2006. Danica has taught middle school students for over six years. She began her teaching career in East Los Angeles where she taught middle school science and language arts. She also taught middle school science in Manhattan Beach and Seattle. She currently teaches math for Rainier Scholars, a Seattle-based nonprofit that works to prepare students of color for higher education opportunities.
