Holly Lahd is a graduate research assistant with the NorthStar Initiative, where she focuses on methods to identify sustainable procurement indicators to inform institutional sustainable purchasing. Before joining NorthStar, she worked on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting standards with the World Resources Institute.
Her NARA related work uses life cycle emissions methods to predict large environmental impacts in bio-based product supply chains that help identify specific emissions reduction strategies.
Holly is pursuing a doctorate at the University of Minnesota in applied economics with a focus on the economic impacts of embodied emissions in trade and consumption patterns. She has a bachelor’s degree in corporate environmental management and applied economics from the University of Minnesota.
