Indroneil Ganguly holds a joint faculty appointment with the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences (SEFS) and the Center for International Trade in Forest Products (CINTRAFOR) at the University of Washington. Dr. Ganguly is leading the life cycle analysis (LCA) efforts for the Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance (NARA) bio-jet fuel project. The LCA based evaluation of bio-jet fuel encompasses the emissions and environmental implications associated with each of the sub-processes ranging from forest growth to combustion of biofuel in an aircraft engine.
Dr. Ganguly’s research interests also include, environmental evaluation and eco-labeling of value added wood products, role of certified wood in green building programs, and role of environmental trade legislations on global wood products industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Forest Products Marketing from the University of Washington.
