Nathan is currently employed as a research forester at Weyerhaeuser. He works on projects related to environmental stewardship and Douglas-fir silviculture. Nathan’s work contributes to NARA due to his involvement in implementing the long-term soil productivity study on Weyerhaeuser’s property near Springfield, Oregon.
Nathan received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science at the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science in forest soils at Oregon State University.
