Rui Zhu is a graduate student obtaining a doctorate degree in materials science at Washington State University. Rui contributes to NARA by assisting the outreach efforts to build supply chains and identify potential communities for biorefinery development. In addition, Rui investigates the structure, properties, processing and applications of polymer blends and composites.
Rui obtained a bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry at Hunan University in China and a master’s degree in materials science and engineering at Washington State University.
