Dr. David Fish is a senior scientist for Weyerhaeuser in new products research and development. In addition to his work in cellulose and lignin research, David has developed barrier coatings for liquid packaging, new resin coatings, advanced barrier boards and improved diaper features. Before joining Weyerhaeuser, Dr. Fish provided research to General Mills, Champion International Corp. and American Can Co./James River Corp.
David will work with NARA’s conversion and co-products team to develop lignin-based products. He has thirty-two years of commercial product development experience. David received his doctorate in physical chemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
