Jenny Schon is the program coordinator at the McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) and will be helping with the education efforts for the NARA project. The group aims to educate and train a future bioenergy workforce with programs from elementary through graduate school.

MOSS is a residential education center that integrates the outdoors into K-12 science education, prepares graduate students as master science educators and provides outreach to communities in Idaho and the Northwest. Schon assists in managing the K-12 programs by monitoring the quality of education from the graduate students, the curriculum taught and overseeing the execution of the programs.

Schon has a M.A. in teaching from Ashford University and a B.S. in environmental science from Western Washington University. Previously Schon taught middle school science in Montana and conduction field research for the fire ecology group for the National Park Service.
