Gerald is a graduate student at Washington State University completing a master’s degree in civil engineering. His contribution to the NARA project currently involves creating an inventory of material recycling facilities — municipal and private — within the NARA region. His work will help determine the viability of construction and residential wood residuals as a biomass feedstock.
Prior to graduate studies, Gerald was a professional carpenter. He is interested in sustainability practices within the engineering, architecture and construction industries.
