Jinxue Jiang is a graduate student working towards his doctoral degree in material science and engineering at Washington State University’s Material Science and Engineering Program. His current research activities for NARA project focus on pre-conversion of biomass feedstock. This work will help lower the cost of downstream enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation conversion to liquid biofuel. His research interests include biofuel conversion from biomass feedstock, flame retardant for bio-based materials and environmental preference adhesives for wood industry.
Jinxue earned both his master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in wood science and technology from Beijing Forestry University, China. He has contributed to 5 peer reviewed publications as the first author.
