Lalit is a graduate student at Washington State University completing a master’s degree in biological and agricultural engineering. His research interest involves the detection of inhibitors to woody biomass pretreatment. Lalit contributes to the NARA project by creating an inventory of material recycling facilities — municipal and private — within the NARA region. His work will help determine the viability of construction and residential wood residuals as a biomass feedstock.
Lalit received a master’s degree in biotechnology at the KIIT School of Biotechnology, Bhubaneshwar, India. He received a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology at the Oxford College of Science, Bangalore, India.
