Rylie Pelton is completing a master’s degree focusing on sustainable enterprises. She is affiliated with the Natural Resource, Science and Management program at the University of Minnesota. She is a graduate research assistant at the Institute on the Environment’s NorthStar Initiative for Sustainable Enterprise.
Rylie is interested in how procurement decision makers can use life cycle analysis (LCA) and simplifiedLCA tools to meet organizational sustainability objectives. She is also interested in how technological advances are disseminated and adopted within sustainable agriculture, development and organizations.
For NARA, she will measure buyer/user perceptions of environmentally preferred attributes for regional bio-aviation fuel and co-products and evaluate them using life cycle analysis and economic input-output analysis, Rylie has a bachelor’s degree in corporate environmental management from the University of Minnesota.
