A Biofuels Data Sources matrix was recently posted by the DOE’s Energy Information Administration and USDA’s Economic Research Service. The matrix provided links to information related to:

NIFA energy fellowship opportunities have been announced that apply to undergraduate, pre- and post-doctoral research designed to solve current and future agricultural challenges facing society. This includes the use of agriculture for sustainable energy.

USDA awards funds to promote development of rural wood to energy projects

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced the award of more than $2.5 million in grants to develop wood energy teams in 11 states and an additional $1.25 million for nine wood energy projects.
