NARA member Facing the Future will host an educator conference on July 29th in Seattle WA.

Over the course of the day, participants will define energy literacy, consider the social, economic, and environmental impacts of different energy sources, learn about the development of aviation biofuels in the Pacific Northwest, and hear from experts in this field.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with several lessons from Fueling Our Future and will receive a copy of the interdisciplinary elementary (grades 3-5), middle school, or high school teacher’s guide.

  • When: Wednesday, July 29th | 9 am to 6 pm
  • Where: The Impact HUB | 220 2nd Avenue S, Seattle, WA 98104
  • Who: This event is recommended for educators who work with students from grades 3 to 12.
  • Cost: $30, includes curriculum and lunch.  Clock hours available for an additional fee.
